My other piece published in Bead Trends August issue.(just a note....my Chameleon bracelet is now available on etsy!!)
My other piece published in Bead Trends August issue.
I was honored again this month to have two of my pieces featured in the August issue of Bead Trends magazine. I thought I would share this photo of one of the pieces, since I have heard quite a few people say that can't find the magazine. This is probably one of my all time favorite pieces, I wear it with almost everything, and it's just feels unique to me. I hand forged all the chain pieces myself out of 18gauge sterling, and the form for the pendant is 16 gauge, the rest is wrapped with 26 gauge. I like making these because each one will be different! It's my interpretation of" painting in jewelry" technique! I have listed a similar one on etsy , but more affordable as it doesn't have the hand made chain, but it can be made either way. It can be a painting just for you!

More ATC's. I don't know what's going on...I just keep going! I really wish I had at least a minimum of another 6 hours in the day.......
There is a very nice lady on the blog, named Laura Bray...she's very crafty, and known to be a VERY smart business lady!! She is holding an online class called "Multiple Streams of Income", and is going to have some really great guests too. Best of all, she is offering a giveaway of a free class....so go check it out. I can't wait to sign up myself!!
IIIIIIFFF you haven't noticed, I've been on the "hope" kick, and this is how it translated into a mixed media piece. Not feeling really sure about it...I like the concept...but in working with this new medium, I'm still having a hard time deciding when it's done or if it is complete....so I made a decision and decided it was done. This piece is 5"x5"....rubber stamp, sticker, paint, torn paper, drawing . I love this rubber stamp I found, and I made some ATC's with it that I'll post soon.

Yes, my dear friend Esther, of Mes Illusions Baroques, has sent me some outrageously beautiful gifts! I sent Esther my Marie necklace, with a few other little goodies, to thank her sooooo much for redoing my blog into the beautiful place that it is now, and she turns around and sends me TONS of gifts....more than these photos, including one of her BEAUTIFUL rings, but not one photo came out good, they were all blurry. I should have known, Esther is never to be outdone, and does everythinhg in a big big way!! Make sure to give her blog a visit, and you are certain to meet one of the sweetest angels on earth! I am very lucky to have her as a friend.
