METHOD TO THE MADNESS

So this is how i work. i recently got bit by the vintage bug and bought this bag you see here of old clasps and such and i am having an absolute ball with it! all my beads are on the other side of the chair you can't see. i know it looks crazy....... am i the only nut out there?!

BLUE MONDAY

I made these in the hopes they will make me feel better about work tomorrow! i just fell in love with these blue opals when i saw them on
The Earth Bazaar website. And i adore the chalcedony, the color is almost ethereal! Plus the length makes me feel glamorous! (HAH!)

o.k, o.k. after lorelei's hounding and my procrastinating, long hours on the computer, and neglected jewelry creations (i'm dying spending time on this you know!, i want to be sitting at my table making all the new pieces that are in my head, with all my new stash stuff from the bead show today!), I AM FINALLY ON ETSY. thanks to all of you for your support and for being so nice and for giving me that great BIG push!! i have lots more to list but at least i have a start. everyone has been so nice to me, i feel as though you are my friends. thanks again!!

QUEEN OF GREEN

Green being one of my favorite colors, and Gaea being one of my favorite bead artists, this just seemed to come together for me. I might just have to wear it on monday to work to help make me feel queenlike! sometimes jewelry really helps me to feel better about the day or helps my mood, but in general it always makes me feel GOOD.

MATISSE BRACELET

my new bracelet for the abs challenge! kind of quirky abstract, heavily influenced by a terrific artist named Lorelei. i had fun with this and it helped me open up and take my work with a bit freer approach.

there will be more to come!! gaea beads always make it better too!
