I'm not much of a seed beader these days, but I fell in love with these; Leopard Skin Satin ! They looked lush, and reminded me of richness and warmth. Combined with the topaz briolette and the hill tribe and tiger eye beads, I felt it spoke to me (YES SUE, THEY SPEAK!!) . I felt like I found this in a far eastern country left from ruins long ago. Yes, this is how my creative crazy mind thinks sometimes, but I'm usually happy with the results! Does anyone else imagine as they create?

Sharon, it's an interesting question, many times the 'story' of the beads tells me how the piece should be created, and I feel the story being told to me as I work, is that how it is for you, too?
Lynn, I would have to agree. Usually the beads themselves evoke a feeling when I initially see them, and I guess I create the story from there! Although sometimes there is a story to tell in my mind and I NEED to find the right components to do it, but thats part of the excitement! Thanks for commenting, I appreciate it!
Beautiful! Darn it, both you and Lorelei are tempting me something fierce with this fabulous necklaces!
Your always so kind Kristen!! Thanks!!
This is also beautiful, Sharon. So you think you have crazy ideas while creating. What do you think was going on in my mind while I was making "Breathe Fire"? LOL
Renate
Renate, your "Breathe Fire" piece is wild girl! What an imagination, and beautiful metalwork too!! Very cool!
I love this necklace!
Thanks Sharon - I have had you in my favorites for a while and I'm so glad I stopped by your blog. It's funny cause I really am a rug hooker and found people don't understand what is involved time-wise so my hooked pieces are difficult to sell and unfortunately they are all my own designs. I lost my "real" job recently and took up cross stitch again actually finishing work I started years ago! Thanks for appreciating it.
I live in the Valley Forge area - lots of influence here!
:-)
