MARIE

This is a new necklace as I work my way through some of the projects in Mary Hettsmansperger's book, Wrap, Stitch, Fold, and Rivet. I tried something new using a digital collage pic and sealing it with a medium that looks like a brushstroke, tried some rivets, and cutting a window in sheet metal. I really enjoyed it and think I may make some pins next, as I seem to instantly gain tremendous ideas from this book!

Isn't it fun when one project leads to another! That book is very inspirational. I find myself wanting to adapt some of the metal work to ceramics. It always suprises me when any of you post pics of a project from that book, how different they look from each other. Nice work Sharon!

All of you never cease to amaze me with your reactions, all so positive and encouraging, and I am thrilled!! Thank you all! I really didn't think this one was that unique, but, as they say, beauty is in the eyes of the beholder!!
You are all so kind! I do have to add that it is all of you who make a lot of this happen for me!

Great piece! Looks like it too a lot of time, too!

Thanks Sue! Yes , it took some time, but I do things to do them how I envision it, no matter how long, it has to be right to me. I can't always factor that time in....it's what I love to do! Sometimes just doing it is enough. If you get a chance, read Christine Dammm's post "A Parable".
It's awesome.
