MEET MABEL

Just sharing a bit of the quirkiness that goes on here! First of all , pretend you don't see the dust! OK then, there is a constant ongoing joke in my house between my daughter and my husband about how I like birds sooooooo much! They think I'm kinda nuts, and freakishly obsessed with them, so my daughter bought this bird at the dollar store the other day and hooked it to my work light. It took a long time for me to notice it, it really blended in, but when I did I was hysterical with laughter, one of the really good laughs that can make your day!! I thought it was really funny, and believe it or not it's things like this that can make me happy!

Still working on ATC's and some other jewelry....stay tuned!

Oooh, hurry and share some more ATC's please!

The bird reminds me of Poe's poem "The Raven", lol.

Mabel is fantastic! What a fabulous surprise. Dust? What dust? I see no dust at all. Can't wait to see your ATCs!

For years I had a stuffed faux black crow sitting on the shade of an accent lamp in my living room. No visitor ever mentioned it and I think it added a nice "Adams Family" touch-- to go with the dust, of course!

Oh Sharon, I am so into birds also! I think its a collective conscious thing- so we must be linked psychic-ly. xo- Nicole

Too funny! I'm a fellow "bird-freak." Am down to only 1 parrot now (had three in the past) and the weekly visit to the parrot store to play with all the other birds is a required errand for me.

I think at first glance I would have been a little scared. She even has real feathers! What a great surprise! Oh, and I got the book you told me about and it's PERFECT! Thanks so much!
