I created this piece for a challenge that Gale of Paper Whimsy gave us....to create a piece using the picture of the doors she had taken on one of her trips. I did have a hard time at first, but after a little imagining, it all fell into place! Check out Gale's Paper Whimsy site, for some of the most beautiful papers and images you've ever seen!

I have long run out of superlatives to describe your beautiful pieces, Sharon. This is another favorite!
I'm with Renate on this one. It's really cool and mysterious.
beautiful,beautiful,beautiful and beautiful!!!
It is like the door opens onto the mystery of herself. I love it! And the fish is a wonderful touch :-)

How do you come up with such amazing ideas...all from a door graphic? You just printed out the door and collaged from there? I agree with Renate...running out of superlatives to use. But when I saw this, I thought - dreamy, whimsical, mysterious...
Thank you everyone! Cindy, I don't know where the ideas come from....I try to imagine another world sometimes I think, with beautiful women, beautiful flowers, and beautiful things!
Imaginative, evocative, intriguing and truly stunning, Sharon! I love visiting your "alternate world" filled with beauty and grace! Kudos! Hugs, Terri xoxo
another gorgeous piece, what talent!
I love the colors, the flowers and the fish coming out of the flower. What a beautiful piece. Everyone you do just gets better and better.
Your collages always seem so unusual to me, so different from everyone else's. Lovely.
