MORE

I'm still in etch mode, and still loving it. This time I made earwires out of Barbara Lewis's lovely enameled headpins. The lavender color is really different for me, but I liked the color with the flower design, I thought it looked serene. I have been drawn to purples lately, and hope to incorporate it into some more pieces. We will see if I can break through the neutral barrier!
Hope everyone is having a great weekend, and as always , thanks for visiting!

Very serene, Sharon! What did you use for the dangle? These are sooo lovely!

Very pretty. The lavender works very well as an accent to the copper and the dangle.

Sharon, Gorgeous! Thank you for the mention! The etched design ... I love. Please tell me where you got those faceted beads. I have been searching for highly faceted beads and have been having trouble. If you only knew you'd understand what a serendipity it is that I'm on your site today!

Hi girls, and thanks for your lovely compliments!! I was soooo unsure about the that little bit of lavender, so silly really!

Try something new everyone!

I too love those faceted beads, and believe it or not I bought them almost 3 years ago and never used them. I bought them in Philadelphia at a store called Beadworks. Not my favorite store as the staff was very uppity, but had some of the most gorgeous beads I ever saw. Very pricey. I am not sure what they are, I thought some type of carnelian, as they were purchased by piece out of wooden bins. I just thought they were gorgeous!!

Thanks, Sharon. I'm glad you used them. They're too beautiful to sit in a cupboard somewhere ... better on your ears or someone else's! xo
