MY DREAMS

I finally did it, I made a journal page for myself, first time since I can't remember. It was a long time ago because I only made 2 pages before this. I have now resolved to myself that I should be able to do one a week....for myself that is. I find this is my way of letting go. I am not comfortable, at least not yet, with writing. My way of having my thoughts on paper is creating it, the process of forming it, the physical movement of touching the paper and creating texture, design. And to dream.
I dream of wearing a crown, of holding a wild bird in my hand, to be able to understand it, to be able to grow wings, leaves, or just to grow , keep growing, and finally to love unconditionally, and to understand the unknown, or to have complete faith.

Love your page, Sharon!!! I love the colour and I love the clearness and serenity it has. Even if it is born out of your dreaming of. It has a wonderful feel!
Please keep it up!!

dear sharon, this is a totally gorgeous page! Make it a goal to continue working in your journal, for yourself, once a week. I think it will make you feel . . . . lots of things! Good things, things you need to let go . . . . I gave myself a challenge once of creating a journal quilt weekly and it was a fabulous experience. In fact, that is how I started blogging! hugs, lenna

A simply wonderful page and I can definitely see you starting to trust the process and begin to bloom onto the page...keep it up! And don't forget to do pages that no one will see...maybe you will feel more comfortable doing some writing if you know it will remain private...big hugs! Michelle

Sharon, I agree with LeAnn..no need for words when you express your thoughts so beautifully with a collage/painting like this. It's a visually stunning journal page and speaks volumes. I'm surprised you don't journal for yourself more often....I hope to see more of your for-Shaoron-only work!

absolutely beautiful sentiments that you represented so well on your page... i have found that i am journaling in the physical realm myself... it almost feels like you touch each thought and feeling longer while working this way...
gorgeous - best luck with you one a week goal - but don't be too hard on yourself (unless it means allowing yourself the time)

I love this page. It has all my favourite elements!

IKWYM about being able to let go on an art journal page. I just blogged a page I did on Saturday doing just that!

One a week is good - a time to get something off your chest!
