Yes, that's right. I am trying to get motivated again. The holiday was wonderful, but now I really don't feel like doing too much of anything, and feel like I should be doing something. I feel like I am in lazy mode, too cold to move these fingers, and everything else has slowed down too for me. I'm hoping it will pass.I started these earrings before Christmas, and just finished them. I call them "Spunk". I love that bling and primitive combination, and it reminds me of a person who has spunk, who enjoys making a bold move. I don't know whether that makes sense, but it does to me!

Sometimes it helps to step back and give your creativity a rest. I think these should be called steampunk spunk.

Let me just say that I am feeling very much the same way! I can't seem to sleep enough or sit and do nothing enough ..... I have never run a marathon, but I hear it takes weeks to recover. That is how I feel! The motivation will return though! It must! ..... and your beautiful earrings are aptly named ..... that's what it takes to snap out of this funk - is spunk! .... and I don't think you should worry about making the blog rounds - everyone seems to be in the same daze :)

Oh yes, spunk is a good word and good for these earings that kind of have that funky and bling thing happening all at once. This time of year is so full of that feeling of slowing down isn't it? All of that holiday build up and then the new year unfolds. I like to think of it as a time when we can pause and move into the next year doing what we've given a good thinking about doing what we want to do.
I love the vintage pieces you used in the earrings, such a nice blend of modern and old. Very Spunky!
