MADE IT BACK

I finally made it back to Tea Tuesday! It's been weeks, but all I can say is sometimes I get it together, sometimes I don't! Anyway, I just had to show off this cute tiny tea cup and saucer that my good friend Karen, from Thread Therapy sent to me......it's a beauty! Karen makes wonderful fiber art goodies, and also has some incredible vintage items in her reconditioned shop. As I sipped from this cup it took me to another place, of prettiness, and daintiness, and a place where niceness is important and to take time to enjoy some simple moments. It seems I forget to do this rather frequently.
Take a wander over to Kimmie's Art in Red Wagon's and visit all the Tea Tuesday takers, and their great blogs! Oh yes, the tea here, not really certain, it seemed a bit flowery. I tried to translate it but didn't get much out of that. Sweet Delila from Robin and the Sage sent me the tea from Finland! Delila has a beautiful blog filled with woodland wonder ....you will be amazed.I am trying to expand my horizons!
Thanks for visiting....and your sweet comments!

I used to drink tea, in an earlier life - I remember the steaming fragrance and early mornings...

Wishing you a most wonderful day!

Hello Sharon,
that is the most sweet little cup- I love the pleated saucer and the motives- and I`m sure Delilas tea was something healphy .

This spring I took part in two workshops /classes on the computer,-and I hardly made any of the projects--no time :)

Ya' know...I started drinking tea years ago and then slowly gave in to coffee! I'm a coffee addict now, even though I said it would never happen to me! Thanks for your comments on my blog, your encouragement means the world to me. Have a great day! ;)

Pretty little tea cups like yours make tea day even more special. I seem to be a mug type woman, but I do love the tea cups and saucers. Only have a few of those and love them all. Happy tea day.

What a delight your teacup and saucer are! Tea tastes better if the cup is daintier and prettier... I don't know why or how... it just does!! Thank you for tea, now I must have a nose about in your blog as I spy all sorts of pretties!!

I never drank tea until I came to the Middle East. I still have my two cups of morning coffee. Turkish coffee around 10 am. But the rest of the day, it is green tea. Your jewelry is gorgeous -- especially the torn fabric pieces. Beautiful! I haven't had much time to slow down this week but next week is our Spring Break. woo hoo! Have a wonderful Wednesday. Tammy

What a lovely post, Sharon, I enjoyed it so much!!! Even though I'm drinking tea everyday, it's true I don't take often the time to surround myself with that prettiness and loveliness that you are talking about and I realise that's such a pity! It seems that we forget how to relax and enjoy the little things in life...
The teacup is a beauty!!!:)
Lots of love,
Sanda xoxo

I love a good cup of hot tea! I'm pretty sure that comes from my early years of eating chinese food quite often. I adore the Oolong tea they served!
