I was really afraid the muse had left for good. I have not been the same these last few months, and the art left almost 2 months ago. I had no desire, and didn't know why. Maybe it is just as simple as needing a break, but whatever, it's back, at least for now.
This is a postcard for my art group with the theme of numbers. Funny how it appealed to me because as a kid, I hated numbers, hated math, it was the dreaded fear of numbers! Now, they are somehow very significant in different ways in my life.
Thanks for visiting and continuing with me on this journey of jewelry and art, friendship, learning, and love, and all things in between.

This is wonderful, Sharito!!! Sometimes our muse is just busy with something else - in your case, it was jewelry, because I could see she was there all along.
Wishing you a wonderful day, my friend!
This card is gorgeous!
The muses needs vacation sometimes, but they always will be back! Your works has been great even without your muse!!!
Have a lovely week!
Hugs,
Tuire
beautiful postcard Sharon, i 'm 36 and still hate numbers( math) particularly the 7, and the 8....
What a awesome card. And I'm glad to hear, that your muse is back:-)
How wonderfull Dear Sharon,
But even more happy to read that you feel filled up with the desire to create again- that means -I think- you are feeling better, all in all- I so hope sweet friend.
I wish you a lovely week- with sun shining upon you.
Hugs,Dorthe
I hate math, too. In fact, I have a learning disability in math! But if you look at numbers as design elements and shapes, as you have used them in this beautiful piece of yours, they become different things ... a tool of the artist!
Thank you so much ladies, your kind words have made me feel great already today at 7:07 in the morning!
So beautiful collage!!!
Yes, your muse never leaves--but I think it goes on vacation sometimes :)
But look at the jewelry you've been making!! and now this collage--I'd say she's back and ready to go!
So very bautiful,Sharon!
Hope you have a wonderful week.
Hugs,
Marie
Really great Sharon! I knew it would come back.
So glad to hear the art muse is returning! I can really relate and I think that, for me, it just needs a break. All that other "stuff" can cloud your normal clarity. Hope you have a terrific week Sharon.
It looks wonderful, and I know all about that muse going on vacation!
I am so sorry that you have been feeling bad; I know firsthand how chronic issues can scare the Muse into hiding. I think sometimes we tuck the Muse away deliberately to protect her, going instead into survival mode ("Just one foot in front of the other") but remember that your Muse is stronger and more patient than we imagine. And so are you!! Take care,
hugs, Michelle
For me, it's like the muse is buried deep inside but I can't summon the energy to get her out! I hope yours is back for good and you have a wonderful spring!
So lovely, Sharon! Don't worry, your art is always inside you. Sometimes it just can't come out . . . but here it is! Celebrate and enjoy. xoxo
YAY!!! So glad you've got a bit of inspiration back for your art. This little postcard is adorable.

Such a lovely card, Sharon! I just love the colors!! Don't worry, the muse is there, is just that sometimes we are too busy, or tired and we can't hear what she whispers!
Lots of love,
Sanda xoxo

Sharon, your muse had disappeared? On the contrary I thought you were on an incredible creative streak! When I visit your blog, I often say to myself, "oh if only I had that energy or that abundance of wonderful ideas!"....I'm sorry your health has really got you down lately and for good reason, but your art has not suffered for a moment. Your Numbers piece is beautiful - I love the message.
