RESPECT

RESPECT-available on etsy here

When I made the resin charm in this necklace a looong time ago, I knew it was meant to be in a piece that was special, and it took me forever to resolve that issue in my mind, but I am pleased with how it turned out. I wanted the necklace to be imbued with the meaning of respect, if that was possible......show strength, yet be gentle, not demanding. Strong, but peaceful.
Hope you all feel that strength in your own worlds, and I hope we all continue to strive toward a respectful world.

Wishing everyone a happy week!

There are so many things I love about this necklace ... including the three beads linked together from which your focal dangles! Beautiful!

in my little world of thought, respect is gentle (and can be firm) as it is about honoring... it is a word that is misused and even abused... but i believe you have struck its meaning here beautifully...

Miss Sharon, that is a lovely piece. And one that was worth the weight. You respected your talents by not rushing in to make something with this special piece until the time is right. And I love the pop of that raspberry color. Such a pretty palette indeed! Thank you for sharing! Enjoy the day!
