It's so good to be back! Back in the art world that is! Don't know how long it will last or how long I will be inspired, but I'm just going with it and trying not to over think it right now. I recently signed up for a short online course offered by Lesley Venable on her site...The Art of Altering called Fluid Chalks. I love it. It was very inexpensive and taught me a technique that I love, and one that I have always wondered..."How did they do that?' I am really happy with how these backgrounds turned out, and then I added some images, and am happy with that too. A teeny part of me wants to see some words on these tags, but my word techniques suck, so I am leaving them alone for now until I find the right thing.
Thanks for taking a look and for your kind comments and support!

Have a wonderful day.

They look absolutely wonderful, Sharito! Have you considered hand lettering? Handwriting is about the most unique way to add words there is....
A beautiful old world look to them. Great work. Have fun! Best wishes, Tammy
lovely tags and fantastic backgrounds, why don't you cut little words or sentences on old books?
Sharon, yes the backgrounds, are gorgeus- and I love the crowned beauty, in blue and brown tones-so happy you enjoyed the paper work again dear- they are both beautiful.
Big hug-Dorthe
Hi Sharon, good to see you 'doing' paper again. These tags are lovely. Fab backgrounds and absolutely fine without any text.
I see you had some great flea market finds recently. I particularly like the red talc tin and the material. Love retro stuff!!
And I am so pleased to read that the boutique wasnts more of your jewellery and that you will be 'sold' in another state. Really good news.

These are beautiful! Your art is so inspiring
Sharon these are amazing!!! Thank you so much for posting them here and for you very kind words about my class.
As far as words you might look at rub-ons....remember when you see longs rub-on quotes you can shorten them...just choose a word or part of a word.
I absolutely love these tags! Just gorgeous!
Sharon, your backgrounds are amazing! You are totally on a roll:-)
