My latest journal page. I haven't made one for months again, but it felt right. I have been greatly influenced by some friends works, and together with my thoughts, that always center around religion in one way or another, I had to put this on paper. At first I hated it. I purposefully forced myself to use color, and I think I put myself in shock. It was hard to get used to. But I left it go for a day, and it grew on me. I only wish now that it was not off center, and that it was on a loose piece of paper, because I am starting to love it now.
So, I am curious, do you believe in miracles? What does this imagery mean to you? Share if you are so inclined, it would make me happy yo hear from you.
And I thank you.

Maybe Frieda Kahlo spoke to you in a dream and said, "Color is lifeblood." I love it!
good job Sharon!! i think you was shocked because of the green , it's a "strong" green witch call our eyes. Not a comfortable grassy green.. Love the result, because this heart had to be like that, in other color it had been not enough strong to describe the force of the mind, and the fight for being happy.
keep on fighting shasha!
Sharon, that really speaks to me. And I think the bright and bold colors nail it. Great work!
Hello Sharon! I have not commented for a while, but have not forget you...
This is a very strong picture and I like it very much! I think it´s about Love. Green is also the color of heart chakra. I get the idea, that Love can cure everything.
And yes, I believe in miracles!
All the best to you!

I think forcing yourself to do something that you haven't done (use a color you haven't used) is such a creative challenge and really moves your creative muscles. Great job!
Unequivocally and absolutely, "YES!" I DO believe in miracles. No question. No doubt.
Sharon, your art is evolving. This piece is stunning -- everything about it. Besides the fact that I love the color, I do like that it's a bit "off center". It makes the piece more interesting. Frankly, I prefer working on individual pieces of paper -- less stress! Keep believing and keep discovering! Hugs, Terri xoxo

I know I saw it on FB but, I had to check this out, just gorgeous!
I think this is so very beautiful, Sharon. Loose paper or Journal page, you got it out of your heart!! So good.
Do I believe in miracles? hmmmm . . . I believe amazing things happen sometimes. i am not sure if I think they are miracles, but I try to embrace them and appreciate & savor them. The imagery you used looks like someone thinking with their heart, trying to love with all their might, no matter what. That is what it says to me!
Things are calming down a little and soon I will start working in our altered books again, I have not forgotten!! i can't wait. I look at your 'lotus in muddy waters -exist' every day whether I wear it or not and smile big. xoxoxo
So vibrant and full of life...that heart is just bursting! Yes, I do believe in miracles, they happen everyday.
Definitely I believe in miracles.

i have never seen something that you've created that i haven't loved!
I've seen miracles happen. I do believe in them. Yes, I do. This is interesting! It is certainly different from your usual work. I think it's hard to change up what we are comfortable with. This is wonderful, Sharon! - Kathy
