DIANA AND RISING

I have been busy trying to divert my thoughts toward peaceful things and calming creations. These are my latest pieces, I get true joy making pieces like these, using elements from some incredible talented artisans.

Birgitta Lejonklou's moon face link is a beauty by itself, and oh so peaceful looking...very dreamy!
I have also been rather obsessed with Carolyn Saxby's textural fiber beads! Each one is so incredible and unique!

Hope everyone is having a wonderful weekend! Thanks for looking!

The Moon would have intimidated me. She is so beautiful on her own. But you made Her even more so, surrounding Her with such tiny beauties. This may be my favorite yet.

I agree that peaceful face seems to remind one to go within for peace.
The beads you selected are so in tune with the main element.

Beautiful.

Wow! Just wow - breathtaking! Fantastic work, Sharito. Your work is always full of serenity for me - but these have a new level of serenity. Wonderful job with the fiber beads - the earrings are truly delightful and the bracelet is perfect.

dear Shannon,
Im trying to post a comment for the third time now ...hm..as it is some problems on the net?? well this time I will save what I write before posting;....
Those are amazing pieces You made as usual!!
I want to thank You for making Diana so serene and gorgeous!
I also have a bit of obsession about those textile beads as I found only a few weeks ago and just now waiting for a special order she made for me ...they look so lovely like 300 years old and very well preserved...think they go so well with my ceramic!
as I said before we have the same taste in many ways I think..
About serenity I am very proud that I just sold a bunch of ceramic parts to a Catholic Nunnery in the US where they make crafts like rosaries and bracelets and cards and other things....
