QUIET

It's been a while, but I am still journaling with collage , especially in the wee hours of the morning....1 am to be exact, but it seems to work for me.
This really is a representation of how I have been feeling, I am not sure why, most likely winter, 2 degrees here last night, and general after the holidays blah. I am trying to work through it.....

Thank you to everyone who comes to visit, and your kindness and support....I appreciate you all so much, and am so thankful for everyone!

I too like to work really early. Sometime I wake up with ideas and have to work quick (before I forget!)

Thanks for sharing!

It's not so much the cold as the grey that gets me. We have been without sun for over a week. It finally shone this morning and I was amazingly industrious! I marked off several things on my list.

Being alone and very quiet is precious when you can create such beauty as this!
It warms my heart and it is gorgeous!
Warm hugs for a cold cold night,
Suzy

I'm working through the winter/post holiday whatevers and think I feel a lot like your collage. I want to be that butterfly and wake up to spring. Take care my friend and stay warm. I'm not going to complain about our 20+ nights anymore :-)

Hello Sweetie! Your journal page is so expressive! The layering, the white highlights and scratches are fab! Is that floral fabric at the bottom? It almost looks like lace....beautiful.
Very solemn, but then there is the green butterfly tinged in blue....Yay! What a sign of freedom, growth and transformation!
Hugs of love,
Terri

Sometimes it's good to quietly fade out a bit especially at this time of year. I know what you mean and you were sick too, so, urghhhh. Find a big blankie, a good book and a chocolate chip cookie and some cocoa and you will be right as rain in no time. Beautiful page...xox

I am so sorry you have the blues.
I remember winter from living in kalamazoo, michigan, through high school.
Now in south texas, well, it never gets to -2 degrees!!
I love this piece and if it came out of you when you were feeling down, well i don't know, I just love it.
