As you can tell by the title I am having a very hard time keeping up with my blog.  I am not sure why, I guess, once again I have way too many things on my plate and I cannot do them all no matter how much I tell this huge head of mine I can! I have been working on a lot of jewelry, and enjoying it immensely, and my art has taken the back burner, and I miss it immensely, and I am back to trying to find the balance, and around we go again.
When I work on a piece like this I silently tell myself the story until it is finished, and I work it out like a piece of art.  This is a new piece in my etsy shop, the gorgeous pendant made by the incredible porcelain artist Barbara Rog. It instantly carries my mind to another time and space. I love metal, I love beads, I love jewelry, I love art, I love blogging, I love my blogging and art friends, I love so much stuff...and Its all good and great and I am glad I have such problems!!
Thanks again for stopping by and I hope to be a better supporter of your blogs too!

Inspiring as always Sharon! Such a pretty piece. Makes me want to dig into my jewelry supplies and start creating.

You expressed that all's not easy trying to do everything and be everywhere ;)

This piece is stunning and very special, but all that you create has those qualities!

Happy July Dear One

I am really enjoying your assymetrical pieces and your choice of elements to create them. Blog when you want, it's your story tell it to us as you wish. xox

I am feeling the same way, Miss Sharon! I cannot keep up. My blog has suffered tremendously. My word for the year is Balance and that is a tough one for me. I spend every day (not exaggerating) in a ballpark watching my kids play and that is where I should be. It seems that all the deadlines I have lately have made my creative muse refuse to play. I am hoping that by August my time will be back to mine again and I can grab hold of the impetus to keep creating. I love your work. I can feel such soul in everything you do. Don't stop creating. Do what you can, with what you have, where you are. That is a mantra for me! Enjoy the day. Erin

Beautiful necklace Sharon! I just love hearing about how you work and seeing the results.

The summer always seems to bring a slowdown in blogging. We are all tempted to play more! Yay! I hope you are playing more : )

It seems that in the life of a busy artist we are always feeling like we ought to be doing something else. My mind goes between "i should be playing and collaging more for fun" to "I should be ramping up production of my big sellers and have overflowing inventory and promoting the business even more." Somehow hopefully we strike a balance and just live a creative life with rewards that are both tangible and soul fulfilling.
I'm all for taking breaks!
It's so nice to see what ultimately HAS to emerge despite our busy-ness.

I can so relate to what you wrote Sharon, i find it very hard to do everything I want to. I think you must try to do what you can and then don't worry about it. I have to make myself give up on wanting everything to be done as much as I wand = perfectly! I will have to settle with doing what I can which is also, oh, so good : )) Love you, your art, this necklace, your heart . . . you are very special! Thanks for sharing & speaking your heart. xo
