BLESSED

I am once again blessed and honored to be included in the Spring issue of the fantastic Belle Armoire Jewelry magazine! My fabric pouches are featured in "The Art of Presentation" section, with a lovely interview by the amazing editor herself, Cynthia Levens. Every bit of this article speaks volumes to me not only of my own growth but that of the amazing jewelry artist community that I am blessed to be included in.
These small pouches have become a bit of a special obsession with me. I get to use the bits and pieces of vintage treasures that I collect and make them into something that I can wrap another treasure in. Each one will always be different, just like my jewelry. Each one directs itself.
Thank you to Cynthia, Belle Armoire, and every person that visits my blog and every blogger I know. You have, and continue to inspire me and help me grow as an artist, and I am forever grateful. I will never be able to say that enough!

RANDOMNESS

Here is a new journal page.....marks and colors, and a sense of movement. This process helps me immensely to release feelings and emotions, and I enjoy the outcome. Most of the time, after it is done, and I step back, I can find something that is there, that I didn't realize, perhaps a thought, and it makes a lot of sense to me. Strange I know, but randomness works out well for me.
