I always feel like I have to do or try something new, so this was this weeks "new" thing.
They are called inches, and they are exactly that ...1" in diameter, and you have to create a tiny piece of art. Of course I thought it would be fairly easy, and was I waaaaaay wrong!! I just about had a nervous breakdown, and it took three days to accomplish this! But, I did it, and it did start to grow on me, ...kinda. It does feel good though when you are finally happy, after that struggle. And am I the only one who likes a challenge? I think the aggravation sometimes actually makes me feel ALIVE, adrenaline pumping, and the imagination is in overdrive!

So much beauty packed into such a small space. I can definitely see how this would be a challenge. They are beautiful!
The smaller the space, the bigger the challenge! Congrats on such tiny wonders of beauty! Now why am I thinking of bezels??? Love them, Sharon!
You know I always wondered what "Inchies" were..thank you for clearing that up! These turned out so amazing..you'd never know you struggled at all...they just seem to flow so easily for you. And I agree with Renate..what pretty pendants these would make!

Whoo-Hoo! Your inchies are fabulous, Sharon! I'd never have guessed that these were your first. I, too, could see these with bezels and a bit of bling!!! Nicely done - I'm so happy you persevered! Hugs, Terri xoxo
You have all made me feel soooo much better about this project...thank you all sooo much!
Renate, that is a fantastic idea about the bezels. I've only tried it once and failed, but I think I know what I did wrong. Looks like I'm setting myself up for another challenge! Thank you!
They are Lovely!

Sharon, they look wonderful...I bet that was difficult to work in a 1 inch space...I agree a challenge does make you feel alive!
I don't think I'm so into a challenge. I would love to find something to do easily over and over, that just flowed out of me effortlessly.
Your "inches" are wonderful, one would never know it took you three days. Looks like it just came naturally!
It seems as though the things we love the most are those that challenge us to grow! Beautiful work!
