Old pictures and buttons, fibers and metal...love all of those things too! You've done a bit of magic here how you put these all together...and especially the focal - WOW! Sharon, I love the whole construction of this piece.
Sharon, what a lovely creation ! As everyone, i am really found of the soul you put in your jewelry. Love the woman's face you put on the copper piece. SUPERBE !
Definitely, this is what you need to be doing right now. I see this as something of a merger between your collage/mixed media/paper based work and your jewelry. That must feel quite good. The blue and green buttons are perfect little spots of colour for this piece.
Whoo-Hoo!!! S-t-u-n-n-i-n-g piece, Sharon!!! This is a beautiful marriage that mirrors all of your passions. I love the way you've combined your jewelry skills with mixed media collage and then added those yummy textures. BRAVO!!! Hugs, Terri xoxo
I have to agree with LeAnn you have so beautifully and flawlessly merge your gift for collage with your gift of creating jewelry it truly is what you must need to be doing right now!! Although i would like to propose a small change in your title Rather then "Still Living in the Past" I propose Still Living in the Familiar. :)
Sharon, this is such a beautifully thought-out piece! "Graceful" is the word that comes to mind. You can really see the care and artistry that went into it. Inspired!
