FAITHFUL

The weather is helping me feel "pinkier" lately, but I never stray far from my toned down color palette, and that comforting word I treasure so much....FAITH. It has been a difficult week here, multiple teeth problems, even as I type this the painkillers are in full force. I have struggled all my life with continual dental issues, this is nothing new, but is has gotten me down more than a few times, and I find myself growing very tired and depressed. Combined with some problems from a car accident last summer, it is becoming increasingly hard to stay positive. When I don't feel good it is hard to concrentrate....I take a few days off to give myself room, and then I start again, mostly because I sooooo look forward to talking and exchanging ideas with all of you. So, when , or if you get down, what helps you to bounce back....I would like to hear, and possibly discover some new techniques. In any case, I will continue to keep the faith.
Thank you again for visiting.

I'm new to your blog and love the mix of jewelry and ATC's. As for the teeth problems, sometimes you just think it would be easier to yank them all out and get falsies. I hope things improve for you health wise and we continue to see your lovely work.

Hi Sharon! Sorry t hear of your struggles. Teeth problems are always so miserable. When I get down, I walk. I find myself simply unable to stay in the same frame of mind once I've got outside for a walk. A simple, healthy and free home-remedy. Hope you'll soon be feeling better and, thank you for your lovely visits to my blog. It is always lovely to see you there x

I agree with Betsy--I find that when I go for a walk by myself, it really helps--even if I don't want to, but still do, it makes such a difference. I hope you feel better--I've had and still do have minor dental problems (I hate going to the dentist more than anything)
AND I've had a major car accident in the past so I feel for you. On the other side, I LOVE your bracelet :)

Your bracelet is lovely, but I'm so sorry to hear you haven't been feeling well. When I get down, I like to either dig and plant something in my garden, or plan a new art project. Both give me something to look forward to. Either new plants growing or working on something new and exciting in my studio. A walk sounds like a lovely idea too!

Ohhh, Sharon! I'm so sorry to hear that you've been experiencing dental issues. Unfortunately, I can relate to dental health problems and have spent thousands of dollars over my lifetime. (I told my husband we could've been around the world at least 2x's by now!) When I'm sad, I give myself permission to be sad for a day, and then plan something that I really LIKE to to for the following day - photography, a walk, calling a friend, listening to 'happy' music. Then I keep telling myself that "this too shall pass". Feel better, My Friend! You're in my thoughts and heart today! Hugs, Terri xoxo

sharon,
First, what a gorgeous bracelet. I really love the pink hues and the dangling faithful charm. It is so pretty!

Second, argh! I wish you did not have to go through this pain. Taking a couple days off is a good idea. Generally i try to find something that makes me happy to think about or do, when I feel bad. If I start to feel depressed I make myself do things (anything!) because for me the act of doing something usually gets me out of a down or dark place. I think expressing yourself as you have, is the best thing you can do and remember it will not always feel like this because "things change".
love, lenna

Oh, it is so encouraging to wake up today to see lovely words from my friends, and to know I am not alone. You are all so wonderful...I thank you all, you don't know how much it means to me! As it happens, my daughter has asked me to help her plant some wildflowers today...I think that sounds like a plan..

i am so sorry to hear that you are feeling this way... connecting with my blog sisters is so very helpful to me... and then immersing myself in some project... it's frustrating when you get 'stuck', but great when you can pour it all into something you are making... you do this beautifully... never lose the faith or belief that we are here to bolster you when you are feeling lost...

I sing. With the radio, the tv or just something I made up. And loud. And off key is okay too. I also find time with children really helps put things in perspective.
I hope you feel better, dear.
I am thinking of you.
Enjoy the day!

hi sharon~ when i am down, i go to the tile store and bother the wonderful woman there...oh, wait, that won't work for you, will it?! i think you are amazing and, though i well know how horrible teeth "issues" are, i also know that you have the strength and talent to pull yourself through. this bracelet is a perfect example. it is absolutely lovely. those teeny beads in the "faith" charm? i LOVE it. so much attention to detail. rock on, girl. oh, and you inspired me to get going on my blog. thanks.

How did I miss this beautiful bracelet? I just love the muted pink - so my colour!

I shall keep you in my prayers Sharon - it is horrible feeling as you do I know from experience - how do I get out of it? - get out into the countryside and really notice the changes the seasons bring - always a joy and a comfort to see this is continuous and doesn't change, as with God's love.

Keep strong.
Lesley x
