I am coming to realize that my love of vintage rosaries, buttons, and the past is my way of seeking comfort, of things that I am tied to in my past, things I love, and things I am familiar with.
I wish everyone a wonderful week. I hope you feel warm and comforted as I do.

Another gorgeous necklace, Sharito! I am in love with that little stack of buttons.
Oh Sharon you have turned this into such a beautiful peace - it speaks of truth and yes all the materials included ground us to our roots and what we feel comfortable with and connected to.
Love and peace and warmth to you,

Familiar things are like are a little like covering up with a soft warm blanket, aren't they? I've been seeking a bit of that myself these days.
It's always fun visiting you. This necklace looks great!
Hi Sharon. This necklace is sweet beyond words. There's something about the image you used in the soldered piece that I just love.

What a nice way of thinking about the materials you use, the stories alone are what intrigues me. Lovely as always. xox Ccorrine

This is a very sweet necklace! The theme, image and additional embellishments really look lovely together.
I love all these things as well, old paper, old books, old tea cups...I love wondering who bought them new, what the owners were like. I think it is the passage of time for me, and maybe the history that brings me comfort.
Hugs,
Terri
So beautiful - I love anything old - I didn't grow up with any family so I imagine anything that survives was loved/cherished at some point.
