NEW EARRINGS AND NEW GIFTS

I finally have gotten around to making jewelry again, and it really feels good. It doesn't hurt that some of the components I use, like the fiber beads in these earrings are so so gorgeous on their own, I really don't have to do much else to them! If you have been reading my blog, you know I have fallen in love with Carolyn Saxby's fiber beads...they are wondrous, amazing, incredible little works of art, filled with texture and color goodness that words cannot describe. These beauties are so reminiscent of the ocean in every way, I am so longing to just see the ocean right now. These beads ARE the ocean. If you are not familiar with Carolyn's work, and she works in many art forms, visit her wonderful blog here and see what I am talking about.

Jewelry aside, I received some beautiful gifts today from my dear friend Dorthe! A gorgeous handmade angel she made me, my guardian angel. A pretty card and a romantic heart that are so special to me. Dorthe has given me her shoulder to lean on, which is the biggest gift of all, and many of you have done the same....so I thank you all from the bottom of my heart...and a huge thanks and hugs to Dorthe! Visit her blog here, it is enchanting!

ART WITHIN

I can't even tell you how long I have been waiting to do this journal page....like forever.
Tonight I decided it just had to be, despite cookie dough awaiting, massive cleaning to do, and lots of wrapping. But tough! I HAD TO. Now I am happy, and hope I can budget more time to do this, because it really makes me feel good.
My apologies for that awful upper right corner glow. It is really a beautiful moth, but the paper is shiny, and the glare took over, so for that part you can pretend!
Thanks for stopping by...I always love and appreciate your comments.

STARDUST

The holiday preparations are coming on strong, and I am keeping a low profile! So much to do!! These are probably the last pieces I will list (I think!) until after Christmas, and these are very holiday inspired.

I made STARDUST using some gorgeous vintage buttons from my stash, Nunn Design goldtone twisted jumprings, smokey quartz, crystal rondelles, and czech fire polish glass.
SIMPLE PINE was made with some handformed sterling and goooorgeeeeous green faceted chalcedony briolettes!

Thanks for taking a look, and I always appreciate your kind comments.
I trust everyone is enjoying their holiday season also!

I AM NOW HAVING MY LAST SALE OF THE SEASON!!!

LONG OVERDUE

I won a few fabulous giveaways recently, well, some of them a while ago, and I am just catching up and sharing them with you. I was so lucky to win some incredible gifts by such talented blog friends. This first picture is not the best lighting, but I wanted to show you these two very pretty bracelets I won from Malgosia over at http://przedzalniarozmaitosci.blogspot.com/. She is from Poland and makes very pretty jewelry and uses a technique where she weaves cords somehow. My apologies, but I do not use cord, so I don't know anything about this technique, but I won these two green bracelets, and they are fantastic! You can visit her, and she has a translater button on her blog, and see her amazing talent! The turquoise bracelet I won from Melissa at Chinook Designs! I love it! Visit Melissa and see her incredible ceramic pieces on her blog here.

This gorgeous ring is a piece I won from the super talented and generous jewelry artist, Belinda Saville! Sterling silver with a HUGE prehnite set in a deep bezel with a brushed finish! It was a custom prize, as she gave 3 pieces away with giveaway she recently had. It is stunning! I am at a loss for words that I won something like this. Blogworld and blogfriends are real and beautiful! Visit Belinda's amazing talent here.

These pictures here are from Marie who has a beautiful blog called Lost Bird Studio! Pay her a visit and you will be amazed at her talent for creating beauty, and romance , as you can see by the things she sent me! I just swoon when I look at the pieces she sent, aaaahhh, so beautiful and pretty! And , that little bottle of buttons pulls at my heart!

Thanks for visiting and taking the time to share in my joy!
You are all a part of my beautiful world!

CENTERED

I am still creating when I thought I would be resting! You know how it is, you just can't stop when the ideas come faster than your hands can move. I always appreciate that feeling. So here is a new bracelet with Carolyn Saxby's luscious textural beads again, red creek jasper, and a beautiful labradorite and sterling clasp. I started out making this because I just love stones with their intricate colorations and veinings, and texture just plain makes me wild, so this to me is a perfect combination!
I thank everyone for visiting and your lovely comments. I hope everyone's holiday season so far is joyous!
