  I have been so busy, I guess like everyone is in the summer, and have neglected blogging. I miss it, and will try to be back more often now.  I recently made these long bronze earrings, and love working with that metal. Heat and bronze are beautiful together and create such a gorgeous warm , rich glow!

Then I moved on to journaling, which always makes me happy. One thing I love about it is that I really never know where it will take me, but it never disappoints!

These are the two creative pieces I made this week, and looking at them here I see clearly how my mind works.  Birds, flight, freedom, travel, a form of transportation, and a wish!   It comes out in my jewelry and my art the same way.

 I have been having fun playing with metal, grunging it up a bit, searching, experimenting, making marks. My jewelry is very similar to my journaling, only with metal and or beads instead of paper. It's about making a mark, seeing how it feels, and then going with it. How it feels is always key to everything I do.
