Ahhh, I just love sewing notions and doo dads, and I finally have a proper pincushion! I am smiling big every single time I look at it and think of my talented friend. Okay, here we go again with the photos being out of order, but I think you'll get the idea! I am so honored and privileged that Bead Trends asked me to do a article for their jewel school when I submitted this necklace a few months back. I decided to submit it after I was so inspired by Renate's pendant that she gifted me with. Renate is a brilliant jewelry artist and has her own blog too, "Put A Little Magic in your Life". I am still in awe of it, it is truly gorgeous and I knew I had to do something special. 
This is a new journal page that I made tonight. It seems every time I see a woman's face, I am very intrigued, and motivated to decorate it. Embellish it and make her come alive somehow. I also think I am drawn to this because I feel I am every woman's face I see, somewhere buried in there, and I guess this is a channeling of my desires and issues, and that is appealing to me, because the variations are endless, the emotions are forever.
My Healing Heart. I created this with the inspiration of friends, faith, kindness, and love. I have plans to make more of these with other variations to offer soon in my shop. It was a joy to create.
